Ball of Fire & Orbserving the Star House in Dub

From The Orb newsletter:

"Greetings from The Orb HQ,
We're writing to let you know that last week saw 2 new releases from the Orb;
First the Ball Of Fire Digital EP, complete with a killer selection of dubwise remixes from like-minded low-end explorers Dabrye, Deadbeat and Mad Prosessor and the Ball Of Fire 7” vinyl, previously unavailable outside of the ‘Orbserver In The Star House’ Boxset
And for round two? The digital only release 'Orbserving The Star House In Dub' which features the instrumentals from last year's stellar collaboration between The Orb and long-time inspiration Lee Scratch Perry. It also includes all the remixes from the Golden Clouds, Soulman and Ball Of Fire singles.
But if that wasn't enough to get your electronic-dub head spinning, you can now pre-order further excursions from last year's sessions at the Starhouse studio with the album 'More Tales From The Orbservatory' due to be released on CD and Digital on 3rd June, with the double 12" vinyl to make an appearance on 17th June. Head over to the preorder store to get signed copies of the CD and vinyl."

New track, new remixes and more

"Spending time with Lx and co at Chew-A-Thon 2 I got some info I wanted to share with you:
a) Two days prior to the event Youth sent Lx a new remix of Little Fluffy Clouds called "Chant Mix". Lx was surprised to receive it, so this remix is not planned for some future release as far as I know.
b) Lx played an unreleased The Orb track from way back called "1994" during those 36 hours.
c) There's a stop motion video from the event :
d) The Orb's remix of Primal Scream's "Shine Like Stars" was given me by Lx to use exclusively on this comp:

Also: in May we'll see the release of Ball of Fire single.

Last year's stellar collaboration between The Orb and Lee Scratch Perry unsurprisingly produced more music than one album could handle, so Scratch, Alex Paterson and Thomas Fehlmann are returning in fine style with 'More Tales From The Orbservatory'. 2012's The ORBSERVER In The Starhouse' was rightfully acclaimed as a colossal meeting of like minds and souls, sparking with rare magic as Alex Paterson and long-time Orb member Thomas Fehlmann provided the perfect backdrops for the Upsetter's inimitable pronouncements, righteous declarations and sweet vocals. If anything, the follow-up stretches further into the cosmos, the backings more heavily rooted in the basic but infinite principles of rhythm and dub. The new tracks continue the full-blooded immersion in reggae's infinite studio universe which characterised the first set; shards of old songs loom like aural ghosts while rhythms resurface, morphing into something fresh and new. For decades, all three artists have shared a common quest to push out the sound barriers. Each one also knows that journey is never over, which makes the appearance of this fresh batch of tunes and dubs all the more exciting. The mouth-watering potential of a legendary master working with long-time acolytes who tuned into his unique wavelength long ago continues to blossom and explodes again on More Tales From The Orbservatory.

Also Orb website has been updated. And they mention free album - coming soon. And when you click download link, you can download the following compilation:
